A fun place my writers like to visit! I’m the advisor for BackTalk Magazine, the writers magazine for Thurston Elementary and Clague Middle Schools, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. My elementary school writers like to create the ice cream poems. I’ll use them more in my classroom, too, for my poetry unit- I’m also a reading specialist, and teach at St. Thomas Elementary School, Ann Arbor, MI
