•Ribbons or yarn for hanging

•1 shiny wrapped candy (about 1 1/4″ long)
•2 mini chocolate bars (1 1/2″ x 1″ x 3/8″)
Instructions for the project: Glue the shiny candy to the front of the gum pack to be the bumper. Carefully wrap the extra wrapping around the edges of the pack. Glue the four round candies on each side as wheels. Glue one of the candy bar to the back half of the car, allowing it to stick off the back by a 1/4 of an inch or so. Glue the other candy bar across the back of that candy bar, leaving at least half of it extending past the edge of the lower bar.
Tips: There are some tips to keep in mind when making candy Christmas ornaments. When choosing candies, think about the shape. When you are at the store look for rectangles, circles, shiny wrappings, etc. Realize that you can create the size the you want for example: You can find small packages of gum in a large multi-pack of gum. Do not be afraid to combine several candies to make larger shapes. This can be an exercise in creativity and these instructions are just to get you started. Experiment with your candies and try them different ways before you begin gluing.
