These clay pot snow men can be made with clay pots and things you probably have in the house.
Materials
3 inch clay pot
2 inch wooden bead
miscellaneous buttons
white acrylic paint
black acrylic paint
2 socks
Scissors
glue or hot glue
small amount of fiberfill
Instructions
Paint the bead and pot white, let dry completely.
Set the pot upside down, then glue the bead to the bottom of the pot.
Cut a two-inch length (approximately) from the elastic cuff of the childs sock, then trim the edges of it, making it ragged about 1/2 inch down. Add a rubber band to form a tassel. Fill the rest with a bit of fiberfill, then glue to the top of the wooden bead. This is your snowman’s head.
Using black acrylic paint, paint on “coal” eyes.
Cut a one inch length from the sock below the elastic, then cut the tube to form a single strand of the knit material. Fold in half and glue around the snow mans neck (This will be the snowman’s scarf.)
Glue two buttons to the front of the pot, or the snowman’s body.
Using a little bit of glue, glue to the ends of the scarf and to the pot in the front and back.
