Here is what you will need for this fun holiday decoration:

•Get one really large open pinecone (try to get one that stands up on end easily)
•Glitter of one or multiple colors
•Cotton balls, around 10 or so
•White glue, like Elmer’s glue
•Dental floss or small gauge wire
•Needle
•Small beads
•Small bow or star for the top of the tree
•Tiny decorations to go around the bottom of the tree

Here are the instructions:

1.Start by gluing the cotton balls at the bottom of the pinecone. This will create a snowy base, and will also create a stronger formation for the tree to stand up.
2.Then glue the small presents around and on the cotton balls.
3.Now dab a little of the glue on the different petals of the pinecone. This is what you will use to put the glitter on for the glitter affect.
4.Sprinkle the glitter evenly across the pinecone.
5.Now string the beads and then use them to wrap around the small pinecone tree at least 2 maybe 3 times.
6.Finally top off the tree with the small star or bow.
