So instead of spending money on decorations and gifts, they decide to take a Caribbean cruise and “skip” Christmas. This is to the dismay of the neighbors, who take pride in their holiday neighborhood traditions. When their daughter calls them at the last minute to tell them she will be home for Christmas, it’s a race against time as the neighbors band together to help the Kranks prepare for Christmas festivities before their daughter gets back.

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas

If you like Tim Burton’s different style of movie, you will enjoy this magical Christmas movie about Jack, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town. However, his plan goes haywire and his girlfriend, Sally the rag doll, must help him piece things back together. With fun music and special effects, people of all ages will enjoy this award-winning movie.

Jingle All the Way

On Christmas Eve, Arnold Schwarzenegger is in a race to find the must-have toy, Turbo Man, for Christmas for his son to make up for being late to pick him up for karate. In addition, a postal worker played by Sinbad is another father determined to get his child a Turbo Man for Christmas, along with a creepy mall Santa Claus and a number of other parents in town. This is a cute, fun movie the family will enjoy.

As he befriends the children and tries to help them and their parents, Horace soon learns the true meaning of Christmas.
