The creation story is one of the most widely recognized stories from the bible, besides probably the birth of Jesus. If you’re a Sunday school teacher you know how difficult it is to get the children involved and excited about lessons. Using some bible creation story crafts to help supplement your lesson can make your lesson much more interesting and gets the children a little more involved with the story. Let’s take a look at some creation story crafts you can use to supplement a lesson or with your children at home.
• Creation Wheel. A creation wheel is really easy to make, in fact all it requires is some paper, brads, and some scissors. If you’re working with younger children you will probably want to prepare your supplies ahead of time like cutting the circle out and getting the seven pictures that go along with the creation. If you are working with older children they will be able to cut out the circles and the pictures themselves you just need to plan for enough time. Once the circle and pictures have been cut out they can glue the pictures into the seven divided spots on the circle. A second circle will go over top of circle with the pictures on it. Cut out a pie shaped portion of the top circle so when you attach the two circles with the brads the top circle will turn and show each picture. The children can retell the story of the creation using their creation wheel.
