Paper Plate Lion Head

Switch to Desktop/Mobile View

This is sort of like the idea with the lion mask, only you don’t’ have to cut the center out of the plate. This is a really simple craft that is probably better for preschool and kindergarten aged children, although older children can make them, they’re not really interested in them. All you need for this craft are paper plates, card stock paper, and paints. You can use markers if you don’t have paint, but the paint makes the colors brighter and more vivid for the children. Using the paper plate, have them paint it the color of a lion’s face. Once the first coat dries, then have them paint all around the edges with brown paint for the lion’s mane. Once the painting is done they can then add the ears using the card stock paper, eyes, nose, and the mouth.

Hopefully these fun crafts for Daniel and the Lion’s den will come in handy for something that you have planned. If these ones don’t work, then there are thousands more out there to look for and find.
