A fun idea that won’t cost you more than a gallon of milk is to make a whale out of an empty milk jug. The bottom of the milk carton will be the mouth and you will have to cut it open for your child while the top part will be formed into the tail. You can use permanent markers to draw the eyes along the side of the carton and whatever other colors you need to decorate your whale. You will also have to tie the top part of the milk carton off and pull it slightly open so that it looks like an actual tail.
Jonah and the Whale Crafts can be a huge success at home or anywhere else you’re using the story to tell a lesson. Kids love making fish and even more exploring the sea and big Whales. It’s a great story and has some fun crafts and activities to go along with it.
