Bat Treat Cups

Switch to Desktop/Mobile View

Everyone loves to get and give treats on Halloween, this bat craft provides a new way of distributing treats in a hand-made bat cup. To make this treat cup all you will need is a cup (you could also use a tin can that has had any sharp edges sanded down), some glue, paint, a paper plate, and some wiggly eyes. Paint the outside of the tin can and the entire paper plate black. Once the paint is dry, cut the paper plate in half. Along the straight edge of half the paper plate, cut a scalloped edge (just like the example given above). Paint a mouth on one side of your can and add the wiggle eyes or paint on your eyes if you like. Once the face has dried glue the wings on the opposite side of the can. Let the glue dry before you move or fill the can or cup. If you have few visitors on Halloween, this craft makes a great gift to give when trick-or-treaters come knocking on the door. This craft is also a great gift for parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to give to the little ghouls and goblins in their family.
