Tissue Paper Butterflies

Spring time brings with it different memories for different people. For some, the life of spring is what is most meaningful. Flowers in bloom and butterflies fluttering evoke many peaceful feelings. Recreating colorful butterflies is simple enough for even young children to do. Simply cut circle shapes out of tissue paper or color clan coffee filters in vibrant colors, then use a pipe cleaner or twist tie to gather the middle of the circle and form the wings. Use these butterflies as wall art in a little girl’s room or as an outdoor decoration that you can place inside of a flower pot. These small and simple creatures of spring can add a lot of color and whimsy to your home without much effort or cost.
