Paper Clip Animals

Even simpler an idea is to simply mold paper clips into animal shapes. You can do this in a number of different ways but one suggestion is to use a coloring book picture (or any simple picture) as a template when you wind your wire. You can hot glue a magnet on the back of your sculpted piece to give any metal surface in your home (i.e. the frond and back doors or the faces of the appliances) a country craft feel. Kids love this craft but be sure to put safety first as metal pieces may have sharp edges.

Country animal crafts are all about using what would have been around many years ago to make something new. By using fabrics and buttons from old pieces of clothing or by shopping around for accessories that have the country craft feel that you are looking for, you can create a simple, cost effective and beautiful craft that you and your family can enjoy.
