You could also make and wear bracelets for special occasions or holidays. A festive red, green, and white bracelet can be worn at Christmas, and an orange and black one at Halloween. The possibilities are nearly limitless.
Your seasonal friendship bracelets can also include objects from the seasons. Don’t feel limited to a simple braided friendship bracelet design. Bracelets can be made from many small objects such as beads and shells. You can also attach items from particular occasions to the bracelet. For example, at Christmas you could wear a bracelet made from white beads that look like snowballs. Look around your holiday and seasonal decorations and find items of interest. Many of these objects can be made into bracelets if they are small enough and if you can attach them to fishing line.
Another great reason to make seasonal or holiday friendship bracelets is that it keeps you making new ones all the time. If you have made a friendship bracelet before you probably look back on the experience with fondness. However, once you had made the bracelets you stopped and went on with your lives.
