Holiday Napkins

These napkins can be made for winter in general or for any of the holidays that fall around this time of year. These are a great craft that kids can help with as well.

What You’ll Need:

• Felt or fleece
• Scissors
• Fabric glue
• Set of machine washable napkins in the color of your choice

Instructions for the Project:

1. Cut decorative shapes from the felt or fleece, such as a Christmas tree, snowflakes, or dreidle. You can do it by hand or download templates or patterns from the Internet to use.
2.  Glue the shapes to the corners of each napkin. You can also decorate them with embellishments such as buttons, sequins, and so forth.

Variations:

For a more advanced project, you can sew a border around the napkins with wide stitches in a coordinating color. You can also sew the decorative shapes on as well.
