Paper egg carton
Acrylic paint
Small round magnet
Fine glitter
Craft butterfly
Scissors
Paintbrush
Craft glue
Ruler
Instructions
- Cut 1 egg cup from the carton
- Trim the edges of the egg cup as smoothly as you can
- Paint the egg cup the color of your choice
- Allow to dry
- Apply another coat if it is needed
- Glue a small magnet to the bottom of the cup
- Hold it in place for a few seconds
- Place the cup upside down and allow it to dry
- Create flower petals by cutting 16 ¼ inch cuts around the outer edge of the cup
- Bend the petals back to open up the flower
- Paint glue over the inside of the cup
- Sprinkle glue over the glitter
- Allow to dry
- Repeat the process on the outside of the cup
- Tap off any excess glitter
- Glue a craft butterfly into the center of the flower
