Spring Mask

Spring is the time of the year when new life is created. A mask is a fun way to get involved with this traditional concept. You can wear a mask, and then emerge as a new self. Masks are fun, and kids and adults alike will enjoy decorating and making a mask to describe their personality.

What you need:

• Plain face masks
• Ribbon
• Lace
• Glue
• Feathers
• Craft jewels

Instructions for the Project:

For this craft, the directions are pretty basic, just decorate how you would like. It can be nice to edge your mask with ribbon or lace, create a pattern with craft jewels, or glitter, add some height with flowers or feathers, and a beautiful ribbon on the base where the mask holder resides. If your mask does not have a handle, consider attaching it to a wooden dowel so that you can hold it to your face.
