What you will need:

Instructions for the project:

There are basically two ways to do this craft. You can roll the Beeswax flush like a pillar candle or have it come up above like a true votive holder. Whichever variation you choose, start by setting the votive candle on the sheet of wax and mark the height you want with your knife. With the “votive holder” style, mark the beeswax sheet at the top of the wick, with the “flush” variation, just mark the beeswax at the top of the candle. Using a ruler, you should now cut a very straight line across the beeswax sheet. Keep in mind that you will probably need two lengths of beeswax, so lay the first one on top of the leftover sheet and cut a second length of beeswax. With the bottom of the candle flush against the bottom of the length of beeswax, start rolling the beeswax around the votive. When you have rolled the first length around the candle, you can stop there or if you want an extra-thick “holder”, add a second length of wax. You can just start the second length where the first one left off and keep rolling. Once you have finished rolling then press the edges together and that is it! You have lovely and stylish Beeswax votive candleholders.
