Decoupage Sneakers

Pre-teens will especially love this “cool” craft. If you use the right decoupage solution they will stay looking good for months and months.

What You’ll need:

Instructions for the project:

Begin by choosing the colors of tissue paper you want to use. Tear off the straight edges and then tear the paper into irregular 1″ pieces. Beginning at the toe along the sole of the shoe, brush on the decoupage solution. Lay tissue pieces onto the shoe selecting pieces that fit along the curve of the sole. You can overlap edges to create interesting color combinations. Brush on a top coat of outdoor decoupage solution. Be sure that the child covers the sneakers completely. Let dry thoroughly. Keep in mind that multiple coats will give you better protection. For a finishing touch you can string beads on the laces to decorate.
