This is a great craft to do on New Year’s Day when resolutions are fresh. The whole family can add their resolution to this reminder pouch and stick it the refrigerator where everyone will see it.
What you will need:
- Hand Pattern (you can find one online or draw your own freehand)
- Yellow and Red Craft Foam
- Black Yarn
- Low Temp Glue Gun
- Assorted Paper Strips
- Magnetic Strip
Instructions for the project:
Cut a hand out of red craft foam using a printed template or your freehand design. Glue down the middle finger, the ring finger, the pinky and the thumb. Leaving up the pointer finger, tie a bow around the pointer and trim the ends. Cut out two yellow rectangles that are 2″ x 2½”. Run a bead of glue around 3 sides of a rectangle and then press against the other rectangle forming a pocket. Then you will need to glue the hand to the front and a magnet to the back. As a finishing touch have each family member write their resolution on a slip of paper and slid into pocket. Be sure to display on the refrigerator where everyone will see it.
