In the past this game was highly unheard of, but it has soared in popularity over the past few years. The way this game works is you construct a target out of PVC piping, or other plastic piping. The target should have three rungs. The lowest rung gets you the most points (usually 3), the middle rung less (usually 2), and the top rung the least (usually 1). Then you stand back by 15-20 feet, and throw your ladder golf balls toward the rungs. The ladder golf balls are actually two tennis balls strung on a piece of rope, with one on each end. The idea of the game is that the balls will go on either side of the rung, and the rope will cause them to wrap around it. It takes a bit of skill, and a bit of luck to earn points. You play an opponent. You can either construct two ladder golf targets, or you can each play off the same target, taking turns. Each player gets three tosses to score up to 9 points. The player who has the most points at the end of the round wins. The fun thing about this game is that it does not take long, so you can play several rounds, and can start fresh each round, or build on your last score, playing a set number of rounds.
