Make a Bookmark for Father’s DayIf your dad reads a lot you might want to make him a book mark. You need a piece of heavy cardboard. An empty cereal box is made of good cardboard. Actually any box that holds food will work. Cut out a piece of the cardboard the size and shape you want the book mark to be and then go to work decorating it. You can cover it with wrapping paper, or tinfoil and then add stickers or stars, or write on it with a sharpie. You can use the color comics out of a Sunday paper if you dad likes to read the comics. Another idea would be to write “My Dad is” on the front and then on the back say something special about your dad. Once the book mark is decorated and beautiful you can use a hole punch to place a hole in the top and then use add colored string to make it look festive.
