What you will need:
- A blown up balloon
- A few sheets of newspaper
- Flour paste
- Tempera paint (dry or liquid)
- Assorted candies and toys
Instructions for the project:
Rip the newspaper into 1-inch strips. Dip each strip into the flour paste and then lay on the balloon. After you’ve completed one layer, let dry overnight.
Make one more layer, let dry for a few hours. Make one last layer and let dry for a few more hours. When completely dry, paint whatever you want on it! Cut a small hole in the bottom on the piñata and fill with candies and toys. Papier Mache over the hole and paint over the newspaper. Hang the piñata in a room with a lot of space and hand the kids a small wooden stick.
When someone cracks it open, watch it’s contents disappear!
