Great Gifts Start in the Heart

Most great gifts start in the heart. My mom still has an apron that I painted for her when I was seven. She wears it on special occasions and it has become a family joke. Still, I know that no store bought gift has survived this test of time. There are no other aprons from the 70s lurking in mom’s closet. Because the gift was homemade it was special.

Whatever you make for your dad make sure it is special from you. In thirty years he might still have the gift you make for him this Father’s Day.
