Children will certainly enjoy a file folder game that allows them to match up a bunch of different animals and other things. Of course you will need to print off various animals or even shapes in order to make them part of the file folder. Shapes are great for young kids as they like to play around with shapes like triangles, circles, and squares. Using Velcro you can easily secure the different shapes to the file folder and then flip them around so your children can challenge their skills and figure out how to match up the various pairs of shapes and objects. You can also do this for older kids by adding some extra things to the shapes like different colors or words and numbers under the picture. This is a great way to help your children learn how to continue challenging their minds.
Creating Objects
Use a template to make a background image and then use various shapes and other things for the children to decorate the object. This is commonly used for decorating dolls and other fun objects. Be sure you have some Velcro in order to attach the different shapes and other things to the main picture below. You may consider printing out various patterns and sliding them behind a piece of plastic so your children can continue changing out the patterns and making fun things for the different objects.
