Fish Count

In the summer you should try and take your kids fishing or head to an aquarium where they can learn about the different types of fish. Then you can create a fun file folder game based on what they were able to learn. Head online and print out different pictures of fish or you can choose to draw some different fish on their own. Now have your kids perform math problems and use the fish to add, subtract, etc. Another way to do it is to have dots become the numbers and have the child place the appropriate number of fish over the dotted area so they are able to match it up correctly.
