Now that the days are longer and the nights are shorter perhaps you are looking for things to keep you busy? If so then you should try some of the different types of crafts that are designed for summer fun. One of the best things about summer crafts is that they can be done either indoors or outdoors depending on the weather and what kinds of crafts you want to do. And even better is that there are a variety of crafts that you can do using stuff that you already have around your house and your imagination.

Here are some summer craft ideas to get you started.

• Materials

2 cardboard toilet paper rolls
Plastic wrap
Rubber bands
Tape
Crayons or markers

• Instructions

Decorate the toilet paper rolls with crayons or markers as desired

Cut out two pieces of plastic wrap so that they are 3″ x 3″

Fasten the plastic wrap around one end of each toilet paper roll, securing them with rubber bands or tape

Tape the two rolls together side-by-side with tape (Make sure when putting them together that the ends with the plastic wrap are on the same side)
