Turkey Candy Jar

Switch to Desktop/Mobile View

You will need:

Small Jar (baby food jars work well you will need one for each turkey)
Felt or Construction Paper
Wiggle Eyes
Glue

Step One

Using brown felt or construction paper cut out two oval shapes. This will be the turkey’s neck and head. Glue one of the brown ovals to the outside of the jar and the other to the inside. Make sure they match up evenly together. Glue the top edges of both ovals together. This will help make it a little stronger and hold it in place better.

Step Two

Cut oval-shaped feathers out of yellow, orange, and red felt and glue these to the outside of the jar on the opposite side of the neck and head. Use scraps of orange and red felt or construction paper to make a beak and the turkey’s wattle.

Step Three

You can now fill the jars with autumn colored candy, such as orange, red, brown, and yellow M&Ms or nuts! You can also paint the jar brown.
