Fairy Garland

Anyone planning on going to a fairy party is going to need something special to wear. The fairy garland is the perfect solution. A fairy garland is to be worn on your little one’s head and can be embellished as simply or as extravagantly as your creativity and at-home supplies allow. All you need are some pipe cleaners and some tulle or tissue paper.

Instructions for the Project:

1. Take 2 pipe cleaners and twist the ends together to form a circle for the base of the garland. Make the circle slightly larger than the circumference of the head that it is to fit as putting the tulle/tissue paper on the base will make it smaller.
2. Cut your tulle or tissue paper into strips that are about 2 inches wide and 6 inches long. Use all kinds of colors, or choose your favorite color to work with.
3. Place your strips around the pipe cleaners and tie them down. The ends of the material will ruffle out. Continue tying your strips until the pipe cleaner is covered.
