Tooth Fairy Vial
Boys and girls love receiving visits from the tooth fairy. Why not enhance their experience by making a craft for the special occasion. A tooth fairy vial is a nice way for the tooth fairy to keep all of her collected teeth in an organized manner. Kids will have fun making the tooth fairy something that will help to make her job just a little easier.
You will need a small vile (you can also use a spice jar, empty baby food jar, etc.), some paper, tape and yarn or ribbon. Follow the instructions below to make your tooth fairy gift.
1. Trim the paper into a strip about 1/2 inch shorter than the vial or container that you are using. The paper should be wide enough to include all of the important information that will be listed on it. 6 inches wide is a good recommendation.
2. Write or type out specific information about the tooth that was lost (time, place, child’s age, details like how the tooth was knocked out, etc).
3. Tape the tooth on the paper (or you can put it in a small baggie and tape that to the paper). Roll the paper into a scroll so that it fits inside the vial, and tie with the thread or yarn. Drop the scroll into the vial and secure the top.
4. Write your child’s name on a label that you can stick on to the vial or use a picture a tooth or of the tooth fairy to label the container.
