Have your students make a timeline of their life. If you are studying something like the different time periods the dinosaurs lived in then this is a great activity to transition into the lesson. Have them start when they were born and go to the current date. Have them decorate it with pictures that they draw with things that are on the timeline or things that mean a lot to them. Have them present them to the whole class or just a small group.
