What you will need:

Instructions for the project:

Clip a 1-inch-diameter hole in center of one of the doilies. Lay the doily on waxed paper, and apply white craft glue to edges of cut out center. Stick 2 or 3 toothpicks in top of foam cone. Place porcelain head over toothpicks. If the head wobbles, use the paring knife to thin the top of cone. Slip the center hole of the doily over angel’s head. Press glued edge of doily to top of doll’s torso. Arrange some deep folds in doily. Pin the bottom of folds to the cone to keep folds in place. Place on waxed paper and spray with the fabric stiffener. Rearranging the folds as needed. Let dry completely. Cut another piece (about 11 inches long) of the waxed paper. Lay out the last doily on waxed paper piece. Spray with stiffener until it is soaked. Place the rest of the waxed paper roll across center of doily, folding half of doily over roll. Let dry completely.

To form the wings, fold top half of doily back up to center fold so edge extends a little beyond center fold. Hot glue in place. Hot glue the wings behind head. Remove the pins and take the angel from foam cone. Find holes in her dress to push the arms through. Make sure the placement looks reasonable before you glue it in place. Turn the angel over and apply hot glue to the underside of the angel’s dress, where arms stick through, in order to hold the arms. Make 3/4- to 1-inch bow from the1/4-inch gold ribbon. Hot glue under the angel’s chin. Trim the ends of the ribbon.Use the wire cutters to cut off the wire close to the bottom of roses. Hot glue the roses to the folds of the dress at bottom.
