Switch to Desktop/Mobile View

Making an Easter tree is a fun and whimsical way to celebrate Easter with your family. You can either use a tree in your yard for this craft or use an artificial tree inside of your home. To make an Easter tree, you will need to create the “Easter fruit” that grows on this tree. To make this, take a couple dozen plastic Easter eggs and fill them as you would traditionally do. Attach strings to the eggs so that you can hang them from your Easter tree (you can do this by either looping the string through the part of the egg that separates the top half from the bottom half. or by drilling small holes in the egg that string can be pulled through. If you are buying an artificial tree for this craft and really want to commit to making it look more fanciful, spray paint it a pastel color. Your kids are sure to enjoy this craft!

When it comes to doing fun crafts on Easter, all that you need to do is use your imagination and think of how you may be able to use ordinary household items in new ways. Never underestimate what you can do with paper, scissors and glue. Everything from humpty Dumpty to the Easter bunny’s ears can be made with simple materials and some creativity.
