There are many different crafts that you can make by using your baby’s handprint. Babies grow very quickly and parents are anxious to find ways of preserving their memories of their children when they are small. Handprint crafts may start when your child is a baby but they do not have to end there. There are also a lot of crafts that you can do with the handprints of your older children.
Windmill
Making a windmill out of your child’s handprints is a fun activity for both the child and the parent. All that you need to do is trace and cut out 5 handprints from some cardstock or sturdy construction paper. When you have all of your child’s handprints cut out, use a brad to secure them in a circular fashion to a straw. You may have to work with the brad and the straw to make the attachment loose enough to allow the hands to move freely when blown. This craft is obviously something that a baby would need help with but he or she is sure to enjoy the colorful end result.
