Teens like trinkets and magnets for their locker or key chains for a backpack or key ring are often made and enjoyed by teens. Simple magnets and key chains can be made from just about any object that a magnet can be glued to or a hole drilled in (for the key ring). Teens who may be more interested in the religious side of Easter, as opposed to the more “childish” Easter bunny theme, can find new ways of displaying crosses, pictures of religious symbols, quotes or scriptures.
Do not give up on getting your teen involved with crafts. Often times crafts that are made as a family are more appealing to teens because they do not necessarily have to take complete ownership of it. They can contribute what they would like and you can enjoy having their company while you are together as a family. A teen should never be excluded from an activity because they may initially show little interest in participating. You may be surprised at just how creative your teen can be when they let their guard down and feel comfortable doing something different.
