Materials needed:

•Brown paper lunch bags
•Paint, markers, or crayons
•Newspaper
•Rubber band
•Green construction paper
•Glue

Directions:

•The first thing that you are going to want to do is to paint the brown paper lunch bag red. But when painting the lunch bag you are going to want to make sure that you leave at least the top 1 to 2 inches of the bag its natural color, meaning don’t paint that part of the bag.

•Now you need to allow the paint to dry

•Once the paint has dried you are going to need to stuff the bag with newspaper until the bag is a nice apple shape.

•Now twist the bag closed at the top and make sure you secure it shut with a rubber band

•Next cut out one or two leaf shapes out of the green construction paper

•Glue the leaf or leaves to the top of the brown paper bag near the rubber band
