1. fabric or old jean material, or even an old baby quilt or piece of clothes – – sweater, t-shirt, etc.
2. back pocket from a pair of jeans
3. fabric glue
4. needle and thread or sewing machine
5. stuffing, fiberfill, an/or old, torn clothes
First, take the selected cloth or blanket, cut it into a square or rectangle about twice the size of how big you want it, then flip it “right sides in”. Sew around the edge of the cloth, leaving a place devoid of stitching in the middle of one side so you can flip the pillow right side out after sewing and before stuffing. After flipping the pillow “right side out” stuff it with torn clothes, fiberfill, etc. “Invisible Stitch” the hole in the middle. Or you can do tiny whip or running stitches, etc. Now is the time to show off your stitching. For the finishing touch, glue on the jean pocket in the middle of the pillow.
