A popular outdoor toss game that can be created with a few household goods is ring toss. To play this game you have to have something that catches the rings, and then a set of rings. You can use a toilet plunger and suction it to the ground, or a saddle horn, or broom stick, etc. The idea is to create something that is fixed that you toss at. You stand a certain length away from the post. It might be shorter for younger children. Then, you get a certain number of tosses, and you score for each time you “ring” one of the rings. You can use knitting hoops, mason jar rings, frisbees, etc. The smaller the ring, the more difficult the “ringer” becomes.
To add more to the game, consider using three different ring sizes, with 3 points being scored for the smallest size, 2 for the middle size, and one for the largest size.
