Getting kids involved with holidays can be tough. Yes, they love holidays because it means one less day of school and presents to open or treats to eat, but they aren’t really getting the true meaning of the holiday. Luckily, there is a way to get kids involved through using crafts. Since kids love making things, it should be easy to entertain them while also teaching them something about the holiday.
This is a great one for children. Make a garland out of construction paper leaves and string.
Draw leaves on pieces of paper and cut them out.
Have your kids write something he or she is grateful for on a leaf.
String each leaf onto a piece of twine or string.
Add more leaves to it each day as Thanksgiving approaches.
