A Special Canvas Bag-This can be a very messy project so if kids are making this adult supervision is recommended.

Supplies Needed:

Canvas Tote Bag
Fabric Paint
Mirror

Instructions for the project: Paint one of your hands (or the child’s hands) with fabric paint and “stamp” the handprint onto the tote bag. By keeping the fingers together it looks somewhat like a tulip. You can then add leaves and a stem with paint. For a finishing touch write Happy Mother’s Day (or other appropriate message) with the year at the top of the bag with the markers and sign your name. These can take a while to dry well so make sure you allow enough time.
