Humpty Dumpty Paper Plate:
Materials needed:
•Paper plates
•Markers
•Black construction paper
•Fasteners
Directions:
•First thing that you need to do is have children cut out some arms and legs from the black construction paper. Basically you are going to want to cut out strips of the black construction paper.
•Now you need to fold the arms and legs that you have cut out accordion style.
•Now unfold the arms and legs but leave them loosely crimped
•Next have the children draw and decorate the paper plate to look like Humpty Dumpty
•Use the fasteners to place the arms and legs onto the paper plate.
Hey Diddle Diddle:
Materials needed:
•Paper plate
•Plastic spoon
•Crayons or markers
•Paper
•Pipe cleaner
Directions:
•Decorate a face onto a paper plate using markers or crayons or using cut out shapes from construction paper.
•Next add arms and legs to the paper plate, you can attach the arms and legs using fasteners or you can glue them on.
•Now take the plastic spoon and draw a face on it using a permanent marker
•Cut the pipe cleaners into four pieces, two arms and two legs
•Attach the pipe cleaner to the plastic spoon so that they represent the arms and legs of the spoon.
Humpty On the Wall:
Materials needed:
•Paper
•Glue
•Crushed egg shells
•Crayons and markers
Directions:
•Give the kids red construction paper rectangles to glue to the bottom of their paper to form a brick wall
•Give the children an egg shape piece of paper to glue on top of the brick wall
•Add a face to the egg shaped picture to create Humpty Dumpty, also draw in arms and legs if the children can
•Now decorate the egg shape with crushed egg shells.
