Materials needed:
•Whatever you find that you can add to your scrapbook
•Scrapbook
•Markers
Directions:
•The first thing that you need to do is to choose a scrapbook size that you are going to use. The bigger scrapbooks would work the best to make sure that everything fits.
•Next you are going to need to create some kind of layout for your scrapbook. The layouts don’t need to be complicated and they also don’t need to be the same thing over and over again. In fact you can actually create the layouts as you go.
•Next you are going to need to come up with things that fit for each letter. This is going to be something that the child can relate to rather than some generic thing that you just create. Some good ideas are G is for Grandma and Grandpa or M is for Mommy. What you want to do is to include pictures of grandma and grandpa as well as Mommy.
•The next thing that you need to do is to create a title page. You are also going to want to personalize the title page. You can include the child’s name, date of birth and other little things that you think of.
•Now you are going to use card stock to create the actual pages. You can include some generic things that the child will know, such as apples. But you also want to include things that only mean something to that child.
•Then you are going to want to embellish the pages with scrapbook embellishments.
Another thing that you can do to make the project even more interesting is that for the letters that have colors that are associated with them like pink, purple, red, blue you can use those colors as the embellishments for that page.
•Once you have gotten all of the pages done you are going to need to put the actual scrapbook together.
