Easter time is one of the best seasons for making crafts. There are so many different types of crafts that you can create for the Easter season, whether they are religious crafts or not religious crafts. There are Easter crafts for little kids to older kids, and ones that are straight out of Martha Stewart-dom. However, this is one of those crafts that is a lot of fun for kids of any ages. You can make the craft easier for little kids by making the doorknob hanger out of paper, or you can have your teens make it by making it out of fabric. This particular Easter craft—a doorknob hanger—is eminently adaptable for all of your needs and any skill level, and you can even change it to make it more appropriate for a different holiday season.
Instructions for Making an Easter Doorknob Hanger
Materials needed for Easter doorknob hanger
1. 2 pieces of ribbon in desired color, each ½ inch to 1 inch wide and 1.5 to 2 feet long.
2. 1 sheet of white, 1 of pink, 1 sheet of blue, and 1 sheet of yellow fun foam. A piece of paper, in addition. These materials are optional; you can also make leaves from green paper, or you can forget about the fun foam and use paper for the entire craft instead. This paper option is a good one for younger kids, while the fun foam makes for a more challenging craft.

4. a small pink pom pom for the nsoe (optional)
5. a black marker
6. glue: either Elmer’s glue or tacky glue specifically for crafts
7. a pair of scissors
8. some Scotch tape
9. White paper.
10. Markers/crayons/colored pencils
Directions for making the doorknob hanger for Easter
1. Cut out the following pieces for your doorknob hanger: one oval for the face, a hat to glue to the back of the face, ear centers, ears (glue the ear centers onto the ears), paws (glue to the side of the face), two bows (glue to the edges of the hat), flowers (glue to the brim of the hat). You can do this step with either paper or with fun foam, depending on the difficulty level that you want for this craft.
2. Now use the black marker to draw a mouth onto the face.
3. Glue to eyes onto the face.
4. Glue the pink pom pom onto the face for the nose.
5. Now that the pieces are glue together, set them aside to dry. Now take your two pieces of ribbon and lay them out on the table in front of you. Tie a bow in the top of the pieces of ribbon to tie them together.
6. Now cut out three ovals. Write the word “Hop” in the middle of them. Now glue these pieces to the ribbons. Leave enough ribbon space for you to glue the bunny on the top of the ribbons, and so that you will also have enough room in the ribbon to go over the doorknob.
7. Use the Scotch tape to hold the “hop” pieces in place while drying if necessary.
8. Now glue the bunny on the top of the ribbons. Let it all dry, and then you have your doorknob hanger!
