Empire Island

This is Empire Island. It’s yours to develop. Put up houses to attract people to your island and collect taxes from your population to raise more houses. You’ve got 30 different types of construction units to choose from including several types of weapon, ranging from mud-ball towers and cannons through to advanced futuristic weapons such as lasers and missiles. You’ve also got to defend your island using mines, explosive balloons and Tesla coils. Build banks and markets to increase revenue. You can will Acts of God, such as air to ground lightning, tsunamis and firestorms, too. Fend off ever more advanced enemies, starting from simple wooden boats, right up to alien invaders. You can upgrade almost everything! Use the mouse to navigate menus, buy and build units, select weapons and aim and shoot at the enemy. Remember this is a physics based game – your shots will arc so you need to aim carefully. Upgrade your workshop and church to unlock new weapons and Acts of God. Use arrows or W, A, S and D to scroll the screen.There are several keyboard shortcuts including tapping “R” for quick repair, “U” to upgrade, “B” to open the build panel and “DEL” to sell units, among others.
