Are you ready for some homemade sushi? Let’s get started! First, prepare the vinegar mixture. Combine the vinegar, sugar and then the salt and cook it. Next put the water and the sushi rice in the rice cooker and cook it. Transfer the rice from the rice cooker to the bowl. Pour the vinegar mixture over the rice and mix. Next get out your sushi board, the rice mixture, cucumber and a sushi knife. Slice the cucumber length wise and set it aside and do the same with the meat. Then prepare your avocado, cutting length-wise and put it in the bowl. Then get out your lemon juice and plastic. Add the lemon juice to the avocados and cover with plastic. Set aside on the back counter with your other ingredients. Next get out your spatula, nuri, sushi mat and rice. Lay the nuri on the sushi mat and then add scoops of rice. Dip the spoon in the water pitcher and smooth out the rice. Flip your nuri over and then add avocado, cucumber and meat. Roll up your sushi then place it at one end and roll the map up around it to set it. Finally get out your sushi serving plate, cut up your sushi and plate it.
