These craft ideas can be done quickly and easily with few materials and little crafting skills needed. · Decoupage Pumpkins-This is a great idea if your kids are too little to carve or you want to avoid the mess of carving. Keep in mind that this is less messy than painting and the kids love it!
What you will need:
pumpkin
scissors
decoupage solution
gift wrap or old magazines to cut up
plastic bugs (Optional)
Instructions for the project: Cut out pictures from magazines or gift wrap. Apply a thin layer of decoupage solution to an area of a pumpkin. Lay the pictures over the solution onto the pumpkin. Brush another thin layer over your picture. Continue decorating all around pumpkin. Let dry completely. Apply one or two additional coats, drying completely between coats. When finished glue on plastic bugs if you desire.
