FreeTiiuPix
July 16, 2012 -- Submitted by Tiiu Roiser, a teacher from Canada - Ontario, who is affiliated with the site.
I was a teacher many years ago, who, due to an injury, can no longer work full time. I have time on my hands and a love of photography and I still want to contribute to students, teachers and the community. As a result, I have created a website on which I share my images completely free for any non-commercial project. There are a variety of categories which both students and teachers may find useful. I do not sell anything, all materials are completely free, I do, however, have ads to help support the costs of the site. Although the site has just gone “live”, I have thousands more images that I am in the process of uploading daily. I will soon also be adding a series of PowerPoint lesson plans on a variety of nature topics appropriate for the elementary level.

This site has numerous nature photographs and scans of leaves, seashells, and clip art free for use. They are mainly meant for 3D artists but they can be enjoyed by all. There is also a section for anyone interested in learning about 3D programs. A G-rated cartoon called “The Catpack” can also be found here.
