The primary purpose of Preschool Radio is enjoyment, for kids big and small…but there is also an important educational element. It is widely recognized that music and dance are very important for children. Many studies have proven the connection between music and cognitive development. Additionally, Preschool Radio plays a broad variety of musical styles and genres each week allowing children to be exposed the bigger world or music.

I stumbled on this site while searching for kids safe websites. The site has a kid/parent friendly internet radio station, movie reviews, game reviews and homework help. There is also a summer reading list for kids. The site seems to cater mostly to tweens. I plan on having my kids checkout this site.
