Born Free Foundation Website

This site is primarily about animals in captivity, but it has a lot of information about big cats, elephants, wolves, and orca amongst others. It is updated regularly and has a news section with information about what is going on in the world of animal welfare. It has some photos of different animals, but could have more. It is quick and easy to navigate though.

Africam
June 28, 1999 -- From a reader from Sydney, Australia who is not affiliated with the site
A great site to just have on in the room while chatting to friends or teaching a class. Africam calls itself a virtual game reserve and features 10 cameras (which update every 30 seconds) trained on spots within affiliated game reserves. The site offers lots of educational tools aswell. With patience you can see lions, babboons, zebras, wildebeest, antelope, giraffes, elephants, hyenas etc. etc. etc. All living in the wild!
