Star Wars Squadrons Wont Start - EA Answers HQ

Hi. When I start Star Wars Squadrons, it brings up the loading screen where anti-cheat loads up, but then it does not load the game. It keeps kicking me back to the origin launcher. Can someone please help me fix this, this has been happening for weeks.

This thread explains for PC how to fix: No mouse cursor in star wars battlefront 2 and/or keyboard not working properly . If you are running Discord: Open up Discord. Go to settings -> Overlay; Disable the Overlay; Restart Star Wars Battlefront 2 and you should be good to go. If issue persists or you don't run Discord:

Update on my issue I am about to open my 5th Support ticket with my game still not launching. My last two tickets had me clear Cache Data for Origins and my App Data, use CCleaner to uninstall Origin and Star Wars and then re-install them, fully updated Windows, made sure both Visual C++ and .Net Framework were updated, and confirmed my PC meets the specs to play the game.

star wars squadrons black screen on start - EA Answers HQ

I am trying to start Star Wars Squadrons, after the initial flash screen, the screen turns black with a rectangle in the bottom right corner which disappears after a couple of seconds. The screen remains black. Have left to run for 3 minutes and program seems to have frozen. Any ideas?
