I don't want to do the normal search and replace of all quotes, which auto-corrects straight quotes to curly quotes, because I have an occasional exception (such as 'cos as an abbreviation for British because), where the initial curly quote is intended as an apostrophe, not an opening quote, and otherwise Word would try to replace it with the ...

Sharing file path in file explorer hyperlink in Outlook

Files are accessed through this desktop shortcut and the drives are not mapped to the user's computer. I want to share files conveniently in Outlook. I can right click in file explorer and select Copy As Path. I send the path in outlook and the user can access the file by removing the quotes and pasting it into file explorer.
Is there a way quick way of copying a folder path from the widows ...

Extra Bonus Tip: If the path has a space in it, type it in quotes. After you type the final quote and press space, Office will convert it into a clickable link, and even automatically remove the quotes. For example, type this into an Outook email, quotes included, then press space: "\\server\folder\some file name with spaces.doc" Enjoy!
