Having an iPhone typically opens a whole world to the user. With 1000s of applications available, there is something for every person, interest and taste. More and more pre-teens and teens are becoming iPhone owners, which has led many parents to question which parental controls they should put in place. Many iPhone applications are not appropriate for a younger user and some have content that is trictly for adult use. This leaves parents with a dilemma over how much access they should allow their child to have when using the iPhone.

Parents should also know that once you restrict an application, it will no longer show on the home screen. In order to enable an application again, return to the “Restrictions” page, and then authorize with the 4 digit pass code you created and turn it back on.
